This year both Dimitry and Eugene Shmitsman were selected by the BCCOHP Registration Committee as OSCE clinical examiners for denturist licensure exam.
Objective Structured Clinical Examinations or OSCE, have been a popular means of assessing dental professionals in Canada for several years. OSCE is a high stakes licensure examination requiring candidates to use their clinical skills to successfully complete various denture problem solving tasks. This examination is designed to provide information to Provincial Dental and / or Denturist boards seeking to determine whether licensure candidates have the necessary level of clinical and laboratory skills to safely practice entry level denturism.
