Most of the dentures will require certain adjustments to be made sooner or later, this is due to changes in the denture bearing surface areas (bone resorption), tissue healing with initial dentures, ill- fitting dentures creating sore spots in the mouth, worn out or incorrect denture occlusion, or tissue adaptation to new dentures. Most of the adjustments will only take 5 – 20 minutes chair side, however a more permanent solution such as a reline may often be needed.
